This piece of Cherry had such beautiful figure that I felt I had to keep the design as simple as possible in order not to distract the eye from the wood’s natural qualities.
A medium depth dish with a chamfered edge and a small tasteful plinth, the side profile subtly curved to accentuate the almost iridescent quality of the grain.
